The Driver of the Year Award is a prestigious recognition that a driver can receive. It applauds a driver’s exceptional accomplishments, emphasizing their record of safety, tenure in the industry, documented deeds of bravery or politeness, initiatives to boost road safety, and letters of praise. This honor is open to drivers living or working in Alabama and are affiliated with an Alabama Trucking Association member company. Each member organization is allowed to propose only one driver for this distinguished award.
